Abstract
A Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT)-based approach is introduced to enhance power quality in distributed energy integration with low-voltage substations. This method utilizes STFT to segment signals with a time-frequency window, computes power spectra, and monitors/analyzes disturbances. Power quality disturbances are identified and classified based on spectral characteristics. Tests reveal significant efficiency gains, reduced recognition time, and lower absolute error, demonstrating the method's ability to swiftly and accurately identify multi-source power quality disturbances, thereby improving the power quality of distributed energy access in low-voltage substations.
